Flapperesque Floral

This weather this weekend was so gorgeous. I broke out my white pants today... Who cares if it's before Memorial Day ;-) Sean and I took his Model A out for a cruise and enjoyed the warmth while it lasts.
Friday night I had a Girls Night Out party at Sister Kates of Spring Hill and invited friends and family. We all had a really fun time while shopping! The pic below is a snapshot from that night. I found this adorable floral top with fringe. They have so many great items for Spring. Don't forget you can call and place orders over the phone if you can't make it to the store! :-)

Makeup Finds: Too Faced, Urban Decay, and Loreal

Ok, so it's no surprise that I like makeup... well, LOVE makeup. So I am always looking for a good quality makeup to test. When it comes to foundation I stick to what I know works for me, which is the Bare Minerals Pressed Powder

I recently was running low on eye shadow so I stopped by Sephora and picked up this Too Faced eye pallet. It has been one of the best products I have purchased. Not only do you get nine different shadows in this pallet, but it is also a great price for what you get, and you can play around and mix them together. I DO splurge on eye shadow.

As I was waiting in the check out line, you know the impulse shopping section, I spotted the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray, and being that I am an impulse shopper at times, I made the purchase! So for the review: I highly recommend this. After you apply your makeup, you spray the product on your face. It is a light mist, and you cannot even tell it is there! This. stuff. works.

My last item, my non-splurge item, is Loreal Gel Eyeliner. This eyeliner works wonders and stays on all day, and most important it isn't smudging by the end of the day. A great purchase. I really like Loreal products and use their mascara as well.

So I have been using these three products for around 4 weeks now and highly recommend. My makeup tip of the day is never match your eye shadow to your clothing, always match your eye shadow to you!

Florals and Orange: A Perfect Sunday Outfit

Tunic: BobbySue Boutique (via Jane.com) Leggings: Elysian, Similar
Necklace: BrinaBox Midi Ring: F21 Sunglasses: Tory Burch-Similar Shoes: JCrew

The weekend really does go by too fast! I decided to go bug Sean at work today, and had him take a few pictures! He is very cooperative. He told me my outfit was "wild". I prefer "fun and comfortable". Today I was on-the-go cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands so I threw this on and headed out. I have been in search for orange floral leggings, and just happened to come across these online. They are high-waisted with a zipper, so they are super comfortable and flattering. I found this tunic on Jane.com for a great deal. If you have never shopped this website, you should definitely give it a look.
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and is enjoying this beautiful weather. I will definitely be wearing some of my spring attire this week.

Ruffles Everywhere & Giveaway!

Blazer: J Crew (camel sold out) Similar   Ruffle Cami: Similar: J Crew
Boots: Michael Kors-sold out   Jeans: Rock Revival  Purse: Michael Kors
Sunglasses: Tory Burch

These photos are from Sunday. Sean surprised me and took the day off. He normally works 7 days a week, so I was SO happy we got to spend time together. We went out for lunch, and also went shopping! What's a girl to do on a rainy day, of course! I decided to wear this blazer, which I got on clearance at JCrew. It is so comfortable. A lot of times I find blazers are restricting, but this one is very wearable. My ruffle cami is one of my favorites, and is a great transition piece into spring.

Now for the blog's giveaway!! In order to be eligible for the giveaway you must share the post on Facebook titled "Pearls and Pinstripes Bracelet Giveaway", and 'like' the Pearls and Pinstripes blog page on Facebook!!

Sequin Pencil with a Pop of Pink!

Shirt: similar   Skirt: J Crew  Shoes: Chinese Laundry, Similar
Necklace: Similar Shades: Tory Burch

What a fun outfit! I can't get enough of the sequins. This white and black color block skirt goes with pretty much any color, and is sure to get attention. I chose a bright pink top, because pink is one of my favorite colors. As I said in my last blog, I tend to gravitate towards blues, blacks, and greys so I wanted to wear something with a pop of color. This outfit would also be a great one for valentines!

Yesterday, my mom and I went to Nashville to do my tasting for my wedding cake. Afterwards, we stopped by J. Crew and found a lot of great items for spring! I love J. Crew because their line offers a classic, professional look so I can wear it to work, but also a comfortable feel so it can be worn on the weekends as well. 2 for 1!

Winter Blues

Sweater: Sister Kate's of Spring Hill     Cords: LC       Boots: Michael Kors (on sale!!!)
Purse: Michael Kors (similar, loving this one...for the honeymoon!! #justsaying)

Last week I stopped by Sister Kate's of Spring Hill, and found this amazing sweater. It is perfect for transitioning into Spring. Not only is it comfy, it is light and airy...AND it has beading around the collar, which gives it an elegant feel. Sister Kate's has a lot of great Spring pieces in as well.

I don't know about y'all, but I am ready for warmer weather. Not only just to be warm, but I am ready for a bright colored wardrobe change. I tend to gravitate towards greys, blues, and blacks during the cold months.

In other news, I will be having a **Girls Night Out** at Sister Kate's Spring Hill store on February 21 from 5-7 if anyone wants to join...bring a friend with! There will be refreshments, and it will be a splendid social gathering, ladies!

Thanks for stopping by,
