Catching up...

This year has been one hectic year with planning the wedding along with many other events!

Soo I thought I would share :-)
Starting with New Years!
Isn't he so handsome?! For New Years Sean had to work his "weekend job" so my brother and soon to be sister-in-law Erica went and had a great time and I got to spend time with Sean while he was at work. (He literally works 70 plus hours a week... He wouldn't know what to do if he cut back he is just a natural hard worker!)

Easter time! We spent Easter with my family in Chapel Hill (TN)
Sean graduated from MTSU May 2013!
Meet my future in-laws! They are THE BEST! I am also an MTSU Alumni :-)
Just a few pics from fun outings we had! Sean is wearing his Harley attire in the third pic :-)

Weddings! This year seems to be the year of weddings! One of my best friends, Danielle, from high school married an amazing guy in Fort Walton and my mom and I went! This was such a beautiful destination wedding! I can only hope our wedding is as smooth as hers!
I also got to catch up with another good friend from high school-Katie! I had not seen her in several years but it was like I just saw her yesterday when we met up!

And last but not least, Sean and I lately spend most of our quality time in the gym together with his crazy work schedule and my grandma sleep schedule (9 o clock bedtime) so I have been trying different ways to make healthier meals! So I made some "clean" chicken fajitas in the crock pot!
And they turned out excellent.
Look I'm only bragging because I was raised in the south and was brought up to cook with A LOT of butter... And salt! So clean eating was not my forte :-)

So.... Now that I have posted this long blog you are basically caught up on the main events of this year :-) hope you enjoyed!

Sean and Kayla

Hello! Welcome to my new blog :)
I have been wanting to blog for awhile now but just decided to start. Sean works A LOT so I figured this would be a good way to keep myself occupied and also keep in touch with our families! Sean's family is all out-of-state so I am also making this to keep them updated as well!

If you don't know our story I will give you a little synopsis...

Sean and I met through my brother Brandon. They both work together and when my overly protective brother told me about Sean I knew he had to be an amazing guy and he sure is!

After Brandon introduced us, we started spending more and more time together. Everything instantly clicked with us and like they say, when you know it is right, it is just right!

Skipping ahead through all of the dating, during Christmas of 2012 we went to his parents for Christmas. Sean and I had our own Christmas before we went to North Carolina. When we got there we had a wonderful time with his family and his parents gave us passes to see the Biltmore (which I love and have been to several times, but never at Christmas time). I was so excited to see the lights.

On December 27th we made our rounds on the grounds of the Biltmore. As we were leaving, it was dark outside and the front yard was lit with luminaries along with the beautiful tree that is filled with thousands of lights. Sean told me he wanted me to open my last present... I had no clue what it could be... so we walked up to the gorgeous Christmas tree and that is when he proposed! (pics to follow)

So that is our last two years summed in a short story! The past six months have been full of wedding planning and let me tell you, there is SO much to plan but all is going well!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
